I am about to upgrade the RAM in my parents' 2012 Mac Mini from 2x2GB to 2x4GB 1600Mhz DDR3. Coincidentally, my own 2010 iMac (which has 4x2GB of 1333Mhz DDR3) is recently having some RAM issues.
I was therefore thinking that I could use the 2 old modules from the Mac Mini in the iMac. The iMac would therefore have 2x2GB at 1333Mhz, and 2x2GB of 1600Mhz running 1333Mhz. Will this work?
