Hi
I've ordered a 8c/16t xeon 2667 v2 a month ago as I had a trashcan with the original 4c xeon.
Since then, I found another can with a 1680 v2 8c/16t and a pair of d700 a's I sold back my trashcan with the 4c xeon.

I've now received the 2667 v2 but I really don't think it will give me any performance improvement...

Should I spend time to change the cpu or I won't have any benefits to change to?
Thanks

Not really, no noticeable difference according to my tests, and not in the light of test suite lists available on the net.
I've got some E5 v2 processor, and please take a look at GB5 for some of them (attached).

Tests done on HP Z440 W10, pretty easy to swap processors.

It's almost the same results in Cinebench and CPU-Z bench too (not attached).
Edit. Passmark reflects this same conclusion too accordingly.
