17.2 messed up audio, 17.1 was fine
Since 17.2, if set to Auto, all audio in Home Sharing comes out as 5.1 surround, after playing a movie, both movies and music.
Anyone else suffering this returned bug ? They solved this a while back and now it has returned.
Flipping between Change Format and Auto with a reboot ‘fixes’ it but as soon as you have played a multi channel movie and go back to a music file, the music file is back to outputting multi channel in output again. Weirdly a stereo movie will play auto in stereo after playing a 5.1 movie and then music is stereo output again until the next time you play a 5.1 output movie then music is output in 5.1 until reset again.
And of course now you can’t downgrade from 17.2 to 17.1 on the 4K as they took the USB port away 🙄
