I was wondering if in your infinite knowledge you could help me with a problem with my mac pro 1,1. I've searched forums for weeks to no results! I installed Windows 10 on another machine, then dropped the SSD into the mac and it runs fine however whenever I play a video in my browser, vlc.. anything.. it locks up after a short while of playing the video. I never had this problem in OSX, I tried changing GPU's 3 times, I've changed the RAM, I've stuck extra fans on the chipsets, I've ramped up the built in fans with software.. nothing makes a difference. It seems to be dependent on how the video was incoded too, it takes around 10-30 mins to crash on a video but seemingly only if it's a certain codec. This is the strangest thing, I've re installed windows 3 times too. Cheers
