Hi, I've got a 2011 iMac running Sierra. It was fine last summer, but it's a bit slow now and I haven't used it in a few months. However for various reasons I want to get it back up & going. I can understand that it won't upgrade past where it is on the OSX front - but as of yesterday (not the summer!) it's not syncing iCloud. Like, it SAYS it has iCloud, so it is holding my stuff on a server somewhere. But it's not adding any of my new stuff or deleting things I've already deleted - either on the desktop or in downloads, or in the dedicated icloud storage.

I'm feeling a bit paranoid about version confusion, and also I want to be able to access stuff! Anyone have any insights or suggestions?
Many thanks
