2014 iMac can not re-download because computer eligibility requirement?

I used command R to reboot my 2014 iMac and use Disk Utility to erase it. I then used the option to reinstall Mac OS and nothing happens. A message displays:

To download and restore macOS, your
computer's eligibility will be verified with
Apple.

I select the Continue option though nothing happens and I keep selecting Continue.

What can I do at this point?
