My 2018 Macbook Pro is on it's third screen and all three have exhibited patches of orange/purple discolouration, particularly around the edges and in the centre. It starts off subtle and gets worse over time.
I suspect the issue is caused by heat or by pressure however the machine is always shut down before being put into its padded case (purchased from Apple) and is transported in a laptop rucksack with a Windows laptop that has experienced no issues. I have had many laptops over the years and not experienced anything like this.
I suspect a design flaw and to be honest expect a £3k machine to be a little more robust than this.
Has anyone experienced similar issues?
