2022 - Verizon Wireless Ultra Watch Order Status

Did not see a post strictly for Verizon Pre orders.

Pre ordered Apple Watch Ultra Orange Alpine Loop Large. 9/23 Delivery date. I did a trade in, so I didnt need to put anything down so no card to charge to gauge shipment.

I think I got the wrong size band, so I ordered a Yellow Ocean Band, with a 9/23 delivery date from Apple.

Orange band. Trade in as well. Nothing changed yet. Site says backorder, estimated ship date 9/23. I'd guess it will ship today or tomorrow.

It says “Backordered”, but it had from the beginning. I ordered first thing in the morning when the carriers opened up orders. Does everyone else’s say “Backordered”? I figure it’s a default title since it isn’t in officially yet.

Also ordered trail loop band from Verizon because it has a ship date of Sept 16 but it still hasn’t shipped and says backfired so this has me concerned for the watch.

Ordered mine the day preorders started @ 7am. Midnight Ocean Band. Still shows a ship date of 9/23. Talked with Verizon yesterday and was told tracking will be given Thursday morning for Friday delivery(next day air via UPS).

Preordered my phone on 9/9 @ 7am, got tracking on 9/12, tracking didn’t update until 9/15, delivered on 9/16.

Preordered wife’s phone on 9/10, got tracking on 9/19 for 9/20 delivery.

Verizon keeping a tight schedule on this years releases.

Watch Ultra wasn’t going to release/be available til 23rd according to Apple, so Verizon had the wrong date on their site.

I think this is a good thing, If I am not mistaken my iPhone did the same thing last year

I was just looking at some screenshots I took from when I ordered, and just noticed one BIG difference between my phone order and my AWUltra order. The phone says “Delivers By”, and the AWUltra says “Shipped By”. Watch says “On Backorder”, while phone says “On Preorder”.

This makes me believe that Verizon won’t be receiving their stock until tomorrow(Thursday), and then shipping on Friday, which means we will see our watches on Monday as “Next Day Air Saver” does not include Saturday delivery.

Hope I’m wrong but I’ve never seen the “Shipped By” terminology used on a preorder. I’ve been preordering Apple products thru Verizon since the 6S+ in 2015.

Sounds like I'm in the same boat as others here....Common thread sounds like most Verizon orders get tracking updated on orders like this the day before? So perhaps we'll see something tomorrow (Thursday) ? Thoughts?

Some AT&T people are seeing their orders out for delivery today! Must be a glitch. 🤷‍♂️

I'm curious - I pre-ordered my UWA on 9/9 with Verizon, along with the new iPhone. Does anyone know if Verizon started their pre-orders earlier than 9/9 (I think Apple started their pre-orders on 9/7, right after the event?)?

Apple started pre-orders on the 7th for the AWU. Verizon started pre-orders for the AWU @ midnight on the 9th.

I thought the same as well but I woke up just before 4am CST for work that morning and when I logged into my account that was the first thing I seen was the ad for the AWU, and when I clicked on it I could order it right then and there. I waited til 705a roughly to order it. Should have done it right away 🤣

Whoa. Yours says “Preordered”. Mine has always said “Backordered”. And I just noticed yours says Deliver on Sep 23rd. Mine says to ship that day.
