First! (I apologize for this comment. I thought I had something to say but changed my mind–and it can't be deleted.)

What are you putting on it and how much space have you used?

Are you trying to justify the purchase by seeing if you can “adopt” someone else’s use case?

If so, I’d store a local copy of my iCloud Photo Library- that shall eat more than half of that terabyte easily.

Comics. I haven’t downloaded many yet though. Just a couple to test for blooming. Happily, it doesn’t appear to be an issue.

Right now, I’m still still monitoring for headaches so I’m still unsure whether I’ll be returning the iPad or not. It’s a waste to download hundreds of GB if I’m just going to erase the iPad and return.

Also, the complete MCU verse. :)

I can store my entire iTunes library and it is 890GB. Download some photos and some TV series, I can keep myself entertained for a LOOOOONG time without internet.

I put everything on it. Tons of photos, movies, files. I could never go back to the days of 256 or even 512gb of storage.

Upgraded from the 1tb to the 2tb. Now I can get the rest of my photos and videos which I have off loaded to external SSDs. Should take me to around 1.3tb! Love having everything on one device. Then some space for more movies and music I do have 900mbps fibre but love to travel (when we can). Thats when the extra storage comes into its own!

On my iPad: mainly videos shot with my phone over the years (my movie collection instead is on external SSDs)

I got the 2TB as my previous 2018 1TB was almost full (over 900GB). I have a large number of photos, videos and music, plus all my business documents and over 100 apps

I've gotten the 1TB version since it was available. On mine I have a healthy collection of comic books from Comixology, as well as a large collection of personal manga, magazines, and comic books on a comic book reader app. There's also my healthy iTunes collection of music, movies, and TV, along with backed up video I watch with Infuse. That alone is easily 250K.

I also have some large project files split between Clip Art Studio & Procreate. I always hope one day to learn stuff with video, which would be another large chunk.

So I like knowing that I'm in no danger of running out of room. The days of figuring out what fits on my device are long gone for me, and I can't always count on internet access for getting things from the cloud.
