no it will not fit in the same case. the camera on 8 plus is dual as compared to 6s plus. also material wise its different than 6s plus. 6s plus is made of aluminum and 8 plus has glass body!

No it's not. 600€ more after selling 6s for a bit better camera and wireless charging wasn't enough to convince me

If the X hadn't been announced, I'd be rocking an 8 Plus, upgrading from my 6S Plus.

I say absolutely it's worth it. Mine is starting to show its age and I can't wait to order a new phone.

From the 6s Plus to the 8 Plus it is so much more than just a bit of a better camera and wireless charging. Even from the 7 Plus to the 8 Plus I notice the differences. I can only imagine the 6s Plus. Processor, RAM, Display, Speakers and more.

Because resolution is everything when it comes to a display? No. Thats simply not true. I did not know what you meant, clearly. The displays are vastly different.

So if anyone outside asks you if the 7 and 8 display are the same, you say no cause there is true tone? It's just a sensor that adjust the colors of the display. The rest is the same.

You literally just answered your own question. Is it the same? No, it adjusts the color to adapt to your surroundings. It also has a wider color gamut than the iPhone 7, which was already wider than the 6s.

If there is one difference, no matter how big or small, they are different. Simple as that.

There is most certainly a noticeable difference in performance, battery life, camera, stereo speakers, screen size in the 8+ over the 6s. I love the heft of it, the glass looks beautiful and obviously is functional by allowing for wireless charging. I really loved my 6s but this 8+ is an incredible device, iOS 11 aside. The only thing I missed was the 3.5mm jack as this forced me to purchase new earbuds but I've quickly gotten past that. It was absolutely worth it to me to upgrade but I'm not you. Only you can answer that question.

6s plus to 8 Plus user here. Same boat as everyone else, definitely worth the upgrade, better in every way except the missing headphone jack but I’m over that. Phones definitely a big upgrade, bigger than I thought for sure. Snappy as hell

Wife and I left our 6s+ to 8+. We enjoy the camera, better battery life, wireless charging, and better screen. Now if iOS 11 can get a little smoother I think that would be nice.
