27" iMacs parts that are not needed

Which parts from a 27"mid2010 iMac are absolutely NOT needed at all, if decided to turn the iMac into a standalone display using the JCrumbs DockPro board?
I can think of a few straight away... the DVD-ROM, The Logic Board, The GRfxCard, the SATA Drive...?
