My 2nd NVMe is only showing up as x2 link width and should be 4x link width.

Hardware:
cMP 5,1
SFF-8639 PCIe Adapter (U.2 adapror with 4x lanes)
MTFDHAL3T8TCT (4 x PCIe 3.0 4TB, 4 lane NVMe SSD)

Any ideas to why it's not full speed?

People in the past reported poor compatibility with Huawei E3000 U.2 drives and MP5,1, some models are not even recognised. Since yours seem to be working, albeit at x2, I'd check adapter and cable.

The only really tried by multiple people and confirmed working U.2 drives are the Micron 92xx/93xx.

This " may " help.
Occasionally I've had both my 7970 & RX 5808gb showthe wrong Link Width or link Speed.

( note: In the GPU case, I re-installed it in a different PCIe slot and later, back into PCIe slot #1 )

in the OP's case . .

Shutting donand removing all PCIe cards except the GPU and rebooting using the "consecutive THREE CHIME " NVRAM re-set. . then shuttiing down again and installng the offending PCIe card " SEEMS" to fix = re-set the PCIe slots. .. at least in my case.

Might be worth a try.

Goodluck OP.
