Let’s pretend that you buy this unusable external drive and want to put it to work.

Here are the specs:
2T capacity
SSD
Read 43mb
Write 37mb

Here is the challenge:
Answer with a hilarious comment to this question:

LOL. I've had a couple of cheap China-based USB sticks off eBay, all 1TB. First one lasted about six months, the second stopped working right after I formatted it for the first time.

The first didn't cost very much so I was okay with getting 6 months out of it and the second refunded my money right away.

So this thing looks on the same level.

I'll use mine to start endless threads here, "Should I use this with my M2 MacBook Air or wait until the M3 comes out?", "Should I use this with a base spec 8GB MacBook or is it better with a 16GB model?", "Poor build quality of my MacBook when connected to a cheap external drive", and in the Monterey forum, "Cheap SSD keeps unmounting".

I will use the 2T external drive to put between 2 pieces of toast because my trouble & strife/mother-in-law loves dark black chocolate and if I give her this toasted chocolate sandwich I'd love to see and hear the crunch of her dentures as they bulldoze into the hard plastic.

And when your wife finds out what you have done to her mother? ;)

LOL!

Should've saved up a few more dollars and got a 16 TB one instead!

Seriously, the linked thread is rather comical, especially since the OP seems to be too 'scared' to answer questions about the drive... perhaps in case he finds out that everyone's "it's fake" suspicions are true...
