I've been having a problem where my 30" ACD does not always wake up. The MacPro wakes up no problem as does the second monitor (Dell 20"). I did have the problem before adding the Dell monitor to the set up. I've tried plugging the MacPro and the ACD into different outlets thinking that the pair might be drawing too much power on wake up. Another poster had suggested using a UPS, but that didn't help either (I was using an APC XS1500). I called Apple Care, and there solution was to set the display and computer to never sleep. When I asked if this would be bad for the display the tech said it would be OK but I should probably shut it down once a week. I'm going to take the monitor in to the Apple store next week to get it checked out. I'll be away on business so is no big deal if they have it a few days. Anyone else having similar problems?
