Hello everyone,

I have an issue with my newly purchased 34WK95U-W on a recent 13 inch macbook pro. I am connecting the display with the usb-c thunderbolt3 cable. I experience random black screens where the monitor loses the signal for a second or two and then comes back. Does anybody else experience this issue?

I have connected another PC through displayport and I have no issue there. I have taken the laptop to the apple store (with the cable) and everything seemed to work fine on a LG 27 inch monitor.
I have cleared the NVRAM on my mac (https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/207503/My+mac+is+stuck+on+the+white+startup+screen).

Sometimes the problem is goes away for a few hours. Unplugging the monitor from power and then plugging back in seems to help.

I saw that the monitor had incompatibility issues with the macbook pro 15 (https://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/product-help/CT20098114-20150908277807-no-video) but thought I was safe with the 13 inch. I really like the monitor but when it is flickering randomly it becomes pretty much unusable.

I have tried resetting PRAM and resetting SMC.

Any help, hints, suggestions much appreciated.

Benjamin
