If I bought a power mac and run VPC
could I put a PC graphics card in one of the PCI slots
and get average 3D graphics

Hi, I dont believe that VPC takes account of what 3D card you have installed in your pc. I think it emulates a standard graphics card (without 3D). However, wait until someone confirms this because I am unsure about this.

i don't know for sure about VPC 5, but VPC 4 couldn't take advantage of the graphics card. It used software emulation instead, which didn't exactly give it an impressive performance for games :(

if you're planning to do 3d work or gaming in VPC, don't. not only is vpc slow on it's own (because it's emulation), but your graphics card is mac and there are no drivers for it in windows. There are versions for the windows version of your card, but they aren't compatible. i rarely use vpc. the main thing i used it for was cracking maya.
