I have a internet dongle on Three Network that i use on my Macbook when i'm not in the house could i use the sim card in that in the iPad?

I know it's a mirco sim but i heard that you could cut it in half.

As its already setup i was hopeing not to have to get a new one and spend all day on the the phone to Three setting it up.
