Went to my local Apple Store tonight around 7:00 pm EST to check out the new phones. Bought my first iPhone on iDay last year.
Turned off wi-fi and then navigated to iNetwork website and ran the network test. Highest speed was 276 KBps. Not sure if the speed would be consistent in Central NY or not. Or maybe it was the store is in the middle of a huge mall. YouTube was also not what I expected for video quality on 3G.
Any other Central New Yorker's experience higher speeds?
