One of the guys mac pro from work crapped out and im pretty sure its a powersupply because its been chirping and the unit would restart randomly.

Anyways is there a guide anywhere on how to do the replacement. I cant find one on ifixit or the web.

The apple store told me 350$ for the parts and labor but i can save them some 200 bucks if i buy one on ebay and do it myself. its a 4.1 2.6 quad so its not worth much anymore. i dont want my boss to sink in 350 on a machine thats probably worth $700 bucks if it was in really good condition.

im praying its not a total disassembly job.

This should work. I guess you would be downloading the early 2009 mac pro pdf! These are Apple technician guides, I'm assuming apple repair centers use these...

Good luck
