I have a 5,1 that was having issues that i still haven’t been able to figure out. I decided to buy a replacement backplane since all of my other components were tested and deemed fine. I installed the backplane last night and now the tower will power on but doesn’t chime or boot. I have tried multiple GPU, and CPU trays, a dual 5690 tray and a single 5690 tray, both from a 5,1. the diagnostic led’s look fine besides the GPUOK light blinking which i’ve read could indicate a cpu error. It feels like the cpu and the backplane aren’t communicating and i’m not sure why. I am at a loss for what to try next, i would like to exhaust all of my diagnostic options before returning the backplane, as the seller is adamant that they are all tested in perfect working order. any help is appreciated.
