Short and sweet.....I’m in Mexico getting out of the winter. I took my Touch with me to listen to music but when I turn it on it wants me to activate it as though it is new out of the box. (The battery was flat) 5th Generation Touch.
When I try it says it cannot connect to the server. No matter, I have my iphone with me.
My question is, will this sort itself out once I get home? I’m thinking this has to be that I’m in Mexico.
Thanks. S

Update if anyone is interested. Returned from down south and got the same error. Contacted  Support. Ended up resetting the Touch to factory settings with what I believe is the latest OS.
Everything is good now. IPod Touches are sure small, light and sleek rigs.

I have a different problem with my 5th generation Touch. It was configured by a company years ago and I can't get past the username and password to get to the settings. Any help out there would be appreciated.
