Any idea why some of us are being forced to pay for another month, even though we paid the early upgrade fee when pre ordering? My account like many others shows a full payment for my 12 due tomorrow

Even if you made 12 payments early, the system will still go ahead and charge another month worth. This happened to me few years back. But when you trade in your current phone and the old loan is closed out. Citizen One will see that you over paid and will refund you that extra month that you've been charge for.

No one is forcing anything. You can upgrade without penalty after you've made 12 payments. iPhone 12 came out in October so we've only made 11 payments.
