iPhone 9.3.1 3d touch trackpad improvements?

Anyone else noticing improvements when using 3d touch trackpad? I'm experiencing better consistency and accuracy.

Yes I have seem improvements over 9.3 but I think there is a better way they can implement the feature, and a way that it'll work on older devices as well that don't have 3D Touch. Instead, a long-press on the spacebar would activate it. This way, it would always work as a long-press would never fail to be recognised.
