Apple store site states that after the payment for OS X 10.8.5 is made , I’ll get the download code by email within a few days.
I'm not a techie and have a couple of questions about the upgrade:
1. When I get the download code , does it have strict expiry date or I can use it later at convenient time?
2. Does the upgrade come as a self contained installation package (say, .dmg) which can be saved for backup just in case?
3. If upgrade comes as an installation package what is its size in Gb?
(my web connection isn’t very fast)
4. What to do if during the download the internet connection is broken - can I start the download again?
Thanks in advance for your replies, fellow Mac users!
