I purchased a Maxtor Central Axis (NAS) to try it out on my home network to share files with other computers in the network.

However, the quality of the hard drive was poor and I decided to return it.

After I disconnected the machine from my router, I keep getting "A Volume Failed To Mount" message at startup.
Since that volume/drive doesn't and won't ever exist on my network and I even deleted the program that came with it, I have no idea how to stop my computer from trying to mount a volume at startup.

I decided to go with Time Capsule for this as Maxtor product was not fully functional the way that I wanted to with my Mac.

So please help me get rid of this error message at startup and let me know how to stop my computer from trying to mount automatically at the specific volume at startup!
