I remember some Windows project was codenamed "Saturn." Not sure what happened to it. I think it "evolved" into "Whistler," which in turn became Windows XP.

saturn is win2k
i know a guy who beta tested xp in its first stages at the place he works at, he was calling it windows 2001 back then (cuz it was back in 2000) and had the same ui as win 2k (n still said win2k back then)...
and neptune (thought it was saturn i was thinking of) which was the supposedly successor of win 2k (win 2001 back then) then evolved into whistler back in '01..
