I was looking for an iTunes section but didn't see one so I chose iOS 11 to post this in.
When syncing photos to your iDevice using iTunes, after the sync is complete, the size of the total photos showing in the color graph bar at the bottom of iTunes does not match up to the total size of my pictures on my computer. For example, my pictures folder on my computer shows I have 2.30GB of pics, yet on iTunes it shows the total size for photos are only 604.1MB!
Are pictures not synced in full/original resolution to the device? If not, why? If Apple is downsizing our photo resolution on our devices, that's not cool in my opinion.
