So my roommate and I share files via FTP at home (since sharing files with OSX and XP sucks). I have two external hard drives that I store my main stuff on. Problem is he (using XP) cant seem to find them via FTP on Filezilla. Is there a command or easy way to do this? Or is it because both my externals are OSX formatted? Thanks for any help.

Can he see your computer at all?

Any drive/partition that your computer can read can be shared, regardless of the capabilities of the computer that's connecting. The reverse applies as well: if you can't read a drive, neither can anyone connecting to you. When the Windows computer connects to you, it's connecting via FTP (file transfer protocol) rather than by the protocol used by the particular filesystem.
