Adaptive and Combine

What kind of Design objects and Photos would come into your mind when you would hear the words "Adapt" and "Combine" ?

Perhaps for Adapt id think of a photo of a Chameleon. Cant think of what other animal can do that though!?

Cuttlefish. As well as Squid and Octopus.
