Adblocker that works with Catalina

I had to get a new (second hand)laptop.
Sadly I could not reinstall my old settings from timemashine. However I got most thing updated just fine BUT I can't get any adblocker that is still working with Catalina. on the App Store "at least 11. . . is needed" and on the Adblock website itself the error message is "invalid checksum"

Could somebody please point me in the right direction.

Using Adblock on Safari, Catalina, Mac mini 2012. It seems to be available on the Appstore.
