Adobe illustrator “file does not exit”

I remember I have already saved the files in Adobe Illustrator, but I couldn’t find my files from MacBook. I could see my files that I save from recent files of illustrator, so I try to click the files, but it show the message” files does not exist”, so I couldn’t access my files. How can I done with this problem. Is there are any possibility to get back my files? (Urgent)
