I have Advanced Data Protection enabled. This includes a recovery key in case I lose or forget my password.
For the past two weeks I’ve been getting notifications from Apple to set up a recovery key or Trusted Contact. Why? I already have a recovery key.
When I reached out to Apple support, I was told I didn’t need to set up another recovery key. But, the response was underwhelming and made with a huge degree of uncertainty. In short, I feel like the agent BS’d me just to get me off the chat.
I’ve seen others with the same question, but no answers. Does anyone here know the answer to this?
