My set up is still saying "Cannot complete Update" "There are no available HomePod updates" even though every single thing I own is now updated
Reading what has been said it’s pretty easy, you just need to make sure all devices are on latest software or they won’t connect and remove any additional homesGlad I saw this thread. So should I stay away from 16.2 entirely or is it safe to update to 16.2 and not do the Home update?
Same. Very annoying.Same problem with another home member not being able to have access to the home. Re-logged them into the Apple TVs. They show up on the list of residents in the home app, then disappear, then reappear, then disappear again. But the home accessories never show up on their phone. I've restarted their phone and reset the network settings.
Yep. Same issue here.I was able to update all my old and new HomePods, in both of the Homes on my account and then run the update. It warned me that my girlfriend who is also a resident on my Home would not be able to use HomeKit if I ran the update. So I had her update her iPhone to 16.2, and Apple Watch, and then I removed her old devices from her iCloud account. Then I ran the update and poof, she dropped off the Home, and I can't add her back on. I send her invitations, which she receives and accepts, but then she never is able to view the Home or its devices and she drops off my list of users within seconds. Her Home app just keeps adding a new blank Home and there are no settings for updating anything because there are no devices or hubs on it. Not sure what I did wrong, can't fix it no matter what I try. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
The latter.Glad I saw this thread. So should I stay away from 16.2 entirely or is it safe to update to 16.2 and not do the Home update?
I saw 2 other posts with the same issue in this thread, no solutions though. Apple's support site has nothing at all. Only difference is her iCloud account is set up a little different, she uses a Yahoo email address, but I can't find any other difference in our settings. Both using iPhone 14 and Apple Watch 8.Yep. Same issue here.
