Hi so I'm new to this forum so if I'm not posting this in the right place I'M REALLY SORRY.

I recently got an Afterglow PS3 wireless controller from my parents who know nothing about gaming etc and just bought the first controller they saw (I can return it but I wanted to see if I could make it work first).

I had tried other controllers on my macbook, for example, a second party xbox controller that worked after installing some drivers but I can't make this one work and wanted to know if it's me that I don't know how to do it or that there isn't a way for this to be done so I better return it and get our money back.

If someone could help me! Thanks a lot

For Macs, it's generally better to stick with first-party controllers. Official Sony PS3 and PS4 models are well supported by many games and can be used via Bluetooth without need of extra software.
