Guys, I have an Air 2 with an Apple Smart Cover. So when I open the cover the iPad screen comes on. And when I close it the screen goes off.

If I set the settings on the iPad to Autolock Never when I close the cover would my battery life still be the same as if I were to set to 2 minutes?

The screen turning off and auto lock are two separate things. The magnets in the iPad and Smart Cover are designed to turn the display off when covered with the smart co re any other case that has the same feature. Auto lock simply locks the iPad which then requires the pass code you set it to unlock it in order to use it. Whether you choose to use auto lock or not the display will still go off and the battery life will be the same either way.
