Have Public Beta 5 installed on my iPhone X. 11.4.1 on my HomePod (since no PB there).
My question: Is anyone else experiencing random Airplay 2 audio dropouts on the HomePod in a similar setup? For me, in different apps, the audio will just go silent for a few seconds and come back. No discernible pattern.
Now, disclaimers:
- I KNOW this is Beta software
- I DON’T expect beta software to work perfectly, that’s part of the deal
- I WILL file feedback with Apple, that’s what betas are for
All of that said, for now...I can put up with it. I’m just curious if this is something others have encountered, which will help me determine if it’s my particular HomePod or not (within its return period). I tried searching first, couldn’t find anything. Thanks!
