This might be aligned with the recent firmware upgrade on the Max headphones.
The last few days I have noticed whenever my Airpods Max headphones re-connect to my new 14" MBP (running macOS 12.0.1), they connect at full volume and not the last used volume level. It seems to be ok with my iPad Pro 11" running iOS 15.2 beta.
Anyone experiencing this or at least know of a setting that I can change to prevent this?
