Hey,

I have the weirdest issue happening since maybe two months on my Airpods Max. I got them on launch day, so they're out of warranty.
I can use them flawlessly for maybe 15-20 minutes, but then they suddenly cut off. It's like the Noise cancelation turns off and the audio goes away entirely.

I then can put them off my head, wait 2 secs, put them back on and they work again for another 15 minutes with no problem.

It's just so weird. I found all those youtube videos where they disassemble them and clean the conenctors from this weird black gunk with alcohol and apparantly that fixes the issue for everyone- except for me. I tried it three times now, but no luck, it keeps coming back. I tried turning off head detection, but that didnt help either.

Then I contacted Apple support, and they told me a repair would cost... 700 (!!) euros. That's more than new APM cost. Are you kidding me?
Anybody else had such issues and resolved it somehow?
