AirPods Pro 2nd gen on Amazon $199

It seems Amazon sells the recent AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C charging case for $199, which $50 cheaper than Apple.

Is there a catch though?

I can imagine they pair it with the new charging case, but older headphones? The roundup promises "added support for Lossless Audio when the USB-C AirPods Pro 2 are paired with the upcoming Apple Vision Pro headset, and improved dust resistance" – but that is harder to check from the Amazon's description.
I like the idea of saving $50, but I'd rather buy the latest version.

They’re the latest version. They’re always $199 outside of Apple.

I just picked up a pair of USB-C pro’s from Best Buy for $199 as well. Like DaveCPA said, most retailers put them on “sale” for $199 frequently.

One thing to consider when purchasing from Amazon though, is there are cases where someone orders the real version but returns fakes and then Amazon resales them not knowing.

I bought mine from Amazon for $199, ordered them about 2:30pm on Monday and delivered about 5:30pm that same day.
