AirPods Pro battery charge now longer showing on Apple Watch

Hi there,

when I first got my Apple Watch, I noticed that I could view the the remaining battery charge of my AirPods Pro on the watch's battery widget, even while playing music from my iPhone.

But this has stopped working for some time now. The only workaround I could find was manually connecting the AirPods to the watch by going into the settings app (on the watch), bluetooth and then connecting to the AirPods Pro. Then I can again check the AirPods' battery from the watch while playing music from my phone.

I already tried re-pairing the AirPods, but no luck...

Maybe someone has got some more ideas.
