I have the Power Beats 2 right now and think the audio quality is just sublime.

Problem is I want the AirPods when they come out...Do you think the audio quality on the Airpods will best / match the quality on power beats 3? Help me figure out which set of headphones has better audio quality :)

No one here can offer substantial feedback until they are physically tested by a number of customers. The Airpods won't even be released until late October.

Your only source would be YouTube from third party Tech Groups who had hands on experience with Apple's displays.
