And it's half off! Should I scoop it up?

Is it a mistake? Is it ready this time??

Thoughts??

Crashing for me when starting a new game, and at least a few others. Edit: only if you are using the web drivers, but this means if you're using a 970 or 980 in a Mac Pro you are out of luck at the moment.

Will this run decently on my late 2012 iMac with NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M? I really want to play this game

Probably not.

I bought it on Steam and tried it. No go. The game wouldn't even launch. It presented me with a pop-up saying it couldn't run on my Mac.

My iMac is the same vintage as yours, with the GT 650M GPU.

Yup. I already posted my experience on another thread awhile ago. However, you CAN launch it by clicking on "show package content", and then navigating to contents/MacOS (or something like that), and then clicking on executable file.

The intro and credits will be slideshow. But afterwards the game itself should run fine in medium settings.... until you light up the flare. The game will just quit whenever the flare is lit! I guess the game should run fine if you somehow can get through the entire game without flare.

I am seriously considering a Retina iMac now...

For the next 14 hours it's on sale (Mac/PC) at Steam for $2.00, yes decimal point is in the right place. I just don't know if I want to put myself through this... ? Well crap, $2 sold maybe one day I'll play it. I still have nightmares remembering the sore shoulder I had playing Alien vs Predator a long while back. :D
