All downloaded Apple Music library songs gone?

What would cause my entire library of downloaded music (~100GB) to completely get removed?
I flipped "offload unused apps" off then on, and sync'ed my phone with my Mac (i.e. "SYNC" to remove error files, etc.)...

but then all of my downloaded Apple Music was gonzo...

(never had this happen before)
