Hi! I've bought a new macbook pro m1 16 inch. Whatever I want to install, I get this error:

For example I downloaded VLC from their website and got this error.

Also, for another program, it said that you should install Rosetta. When I wanted to install Rosetta, I got this error too.😕

Have you tried restarting your MacBook? That's normally the first diagnostic step I take when anything unusual like that happens.

You might have a problem with your Internet connection. If enabled, try to disable iCloud Private Relay https://support.apple.com/HT212614

Have you downloaded the VLC for Macs with Apple Silicon chips?

I updated the MAC os and the problem went away.
