i need to repair the mac partition on my macbook. i am currently running on tinyxp and using macdrive6 to access my mac files. i know that the partition needs to be repaired, however disk utility wont do it and ive heard that diskwarrior will. now the question is, can i download and run diskwarrior for windows, but have it repair my mac partition?

thanks guys.

did you try booting to the restore disk and running disk utility from there?

by the restore disk do you mean OSX DVD 1, that came with it?

if so, yes i did. it says that the volume cannot be repaired, and the partition is grayed out along the sidebar on the left.
