Hi,

I am looking for an iOS application that allows me to access my ssh server and start an x Window. I would like to be able to "ssh -x" and then open whatever.

Is there any app that allows that?

I have seen

"IT MAnager" https://itunes.apple.com/es/app/it-manager/id523631652?mt=8

"Serverauditor" https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/server-auditor-ssh-shell-console/id549039908?mt=8

and "Mocha VNC" https://itunes.apple.com/app/mocha-vnc/id284981670?mt=8

but I am not sure at all that they work for what I want. Any experiences?

Thanks for your support

I would be shocked if there is an app in the app store with xserver running on iOS that would allow x11 tunneling.

Best bet would be to set up VNC.

Why is that?

If I am right, and old one called iSSH did have it. Why newer ones don't? Is it a problem with iOS or something?

VNC support seems great but I am not the sysadmin, just an user. I was asked to take a laptop with ssh forwarding support to a course but I am trying to avoid it and take my iPad instead. So I guess I have nothing to do, have I?

best regards,
