Anyone making a good stand with a lightning connector yet? I don't want a docking station with speakers, just a nice stand that can charge my iPad. What the heck is taking everyone so long???

I got into this Kickstarter project and it seems like they're getting ready to ship. It may be limited to the iPad Mini because I don't see too much in terms of using the regular iPad's on it yet.
The problems they seem to be having getting Apple certified to build it may indicate why we aren't seeing a lot of stands in the marketplace. It appears to be a high bar to get over which tends to remove the smaller players.
