iPhone 14 Pro Max Any problem air dropping 13 or 14 promax to High Sierra desktop

I intend to upgrade my 6 yr old iphone X (v16.7.2) to either 13 promax or 14 promax (obviously will be 2nd hand by now). My desk top is iOS High Sierra v10.13.6 (already the latest). I can airdrop or use image capture to transfer photos to my desktop without a problem currently. Can I still transfer photos from my intended purchase of the new phone (13 or 14 promax) to my desktop using either airdrop or image capture ?

PS. I assume if 14 PM can airdrop/image capture, then I believed 13 PM shld not be an issue.
