This might be a strange question, but I have to increase brightness to about 95% on my iphones to avoid eye strain from the PWM flicker.... I use "Reduce white point", also at about 95%, to take down the brightness then to make it usable.

However now that I have moved to the 13 Mini that has a bit brighter screen than my previous one, even at this setting the screen is a bit too sharp for my eyes.
I have a privacy screen protector on it, but I don't think that really is helping to dim the display a bit more.

Are there any screen protectors out there that truly do dim the display, taking the edge off of the "sharp" brightness for those of us with eyes that are a bit more sensitive to that kind of thing?

I had the Belkin matte screen protector sold only in Apple Stores and I hated it. Everything is blurred and seemed less bright. Not by much but maybe it could help in your case
