After hearing the interview with arn about the history of MacRumors, I realized that 23 years is a generation's worth of time.

That led me to wonder if some forum members are second-generation MacRumors members.

Are your parents or children MacRumors members?

My son could be, but is not. He's 19 and while his first Mac was an iBook G3, when he started high school I got him a PC so there wouldn't be any issues with the tech school he was attending. He stayed PC, although he is on his second iPhone now, an SE2.

I'd mention this place, pretty sure he's aware of it as MR has been on my screen(s) for years now. But he's more preoccupied with the places his friends are, which isn't here.

He's in his second year of college for an IT degree so maybe some day…
